Linda Garcia-Dahle

Linda Garcia-Dahle is following in the footsteps of her Father and Grandfather. Her Grandfather was an active trompe l'oeil muralist in Los Angeles in the early part of the 20th century. Her Father, when not working to provide for a large family, became an amateur photographer. Both their passion and love for art was fully instilled into her from a young age. One of her favorite memories is sitting with both of them in her family's patio and discussing the best way to work on a painting's perspective.

Linda earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the California State University at Long Beach. She is influenced by the artists of the Impressionists, Realists and Hudson River School of Arts, who placed much emphasis on light and the emotions it can invoke in a painting

In 2019 she had the honor of being invited by the Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation in connection with the Smithsonian Institute to participate in their "Preserving Creative Spaces exhibit", which featured notable artists from across America in their homes or studios, along with photos of regional artists.
